Decree-Law No. 87/2024, of 7 November, introduced several significant amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure, particularly concerning the provisions governing the service of process and notification of natural and legal persons. In respect of legal entities, service of process and notification shall, as a general rule, be carried out by electronic means. The transitional period established under the said Decree-Law will end on 10 May 2025, from which date its provisions shall enter fully into force
